Benefits of working with a Doula Agency

  • We each have unique strengths that you can pull from to get all the care, knowledge, and attention you need during your pregnancy and birth. Even though you’re working one-on-one with a doula, we are always in contact with one another asking for insight to make sure we are serving our clients best.

  • We always have back-up doulas who know your birth plan and can jump in seamlessly when needed! Sometimes births go really long, or one of us gets sick and doesn’t want to spread anything to you or your newborn… and with built in back-up, we can continue showing up for you without missing a beat!

  • There is no cap on how many hours we support your birth. Whether your birth is 3 hours or three days (yes, that happens), your primary doula has the option to switch out with their backup once they reach the point of exhaustion so a rejuvenated doula can step in and help you get the best care, no matter how long your birth goes.

  • Did you know the average doula burns out by the 2-year mark? By serving together, we have gotten to stay in the game longer while finding balance for ourselves and our families, which means the families we serve get to work with experienced and knowledgeable doulas at a fair price.

I’m sure you have some questions. Here are a few answers.

Inviting a doula into your birth is a deeply personal decision, and we don’t take the responsibility lightly.

If you have any questions before booking a consultation, feel free to contact our lead doula and owner, Heidi, HERE!

Here are the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions so you can explore if a doula is the right fit for your birth support.

What Makes Us Special

~

What Makes Us Special ~

Specialized training in…

  • trauma-informed care

  • non-confrontational advocacy techniques

  • fetal positioning

  • supporting epidurals/inductions when desired or needed

  • working within hospital systems to support our client’s birth plans

Are you worried a doula doesn’t fit your birth preferences?

Our nation is in the middle of a maternity care crisis, and while doula care will never fix all the gaps in our systems, it has been proven to better birth and postpartum outcomes; but yet so few families are utilizing doula support.

There is a misconception around doula care that it is only for those seeking low-intervention birth. While doulas can absolutely help with those goals, we’d be selling ourselves short if we didn’t let you know that we can do SO much more!

Doulas are there to support, to advocate for, and to guide you through the unknowns of birth. Hiring a doula means having a guaranteed support person on your baby's birthday who has gotten to know your family and your birth preferences and who knows the system you’re giving birth within.

A doula is an advocate who will be with you every step of the way, all with the goal of helping you and your family leave the experience feeling cared for and seen during the process of bringing your baby earth-side.
